For months I made 4 batches of granola. I customized the granola to family members tastes or household needs. Versions varied from; walnuts and raisin to pecans and cranberries. After I noticed a guest picking out the nuts, [nuts are expensive!] I created a version without fruit or nuts.
Each time I began to bake these batches, I had to pull from my pantry all the ingredients. Then I had to find the bowls, measuring cups, spoons, baking pans, spatulas, mixing spoons. And finally, measure everything out four times. I thought - is there an easier way to do this? An idea was born! Why not prepackage my ingredients ahead of time.
